Kikko in Dinslaken

From the experiences before the lockdown: The store started well after opening, but has become more and more average over the years. Ambience very nice, food not a highlight. Ordering by tablet is no longer an innovation

Very good sushi, very short waiting times and in summer 2020 the corona protective measures were also very good. Warm dishes arrived warm at every visit and nothing was ever forgotten.

We ate during Corona time, so to take away. I thought it was delicious and the wait in front of the store was ok. You have to have a bit of patience.

Very tasty, but were there for lunch during the week and nothing went without a reservation, only by luck after 1 hour of waiting what was available for 5. A little too small for the rush. My tip: RESERVE

Delicious food, nice service .... buffet to be recommended ....... price-performance ratio fits.

We were at Kikko Dinslaken on October 19, 2020 at 5.30 p.m. There we were greeted very friendly. As it should be in Corona times, our hands were disinfected and then we were brought to our table. The restaurant makes a nice impression and we felt very comfortable. Unfortunately it got a bit louder in the late evening, but this was not a problem for us :-) Sooo, now I come to the essentials. The staff was always very nice, extremely polite and always answered all our questions and problems in a friendly manner. We felt good. Food: I can only say that we actually liked EVERYTHING. The food was beautifully presented, looked extremely tasty and appetizing and was / is not to be compared with a standard Chinese buffet or similar. At Kikko, they put more emphasis on quality than on quantity. The sauces for the meat .. DELICIOUS DELICIOUS DELICIOUS Price / performance: The evening with 3 people was "relatively expensive" but worth every euro in my opinion. For my part, I will not set foot in a Chinese buffet restaraunt from last night. Unfortunately I eat 1 times less and go to Kikko instead :-) Conclusion and stars: I only give 4 stars at first, because unfortunately towards the end There was less sauce with the meat portions and I also couldn't get a full menu, i.e. meat, rice and a salad on the table at the same time, even though it was in one order. But that's not bad, but it should be mentioned. All in all, it was a nice evening with delicious food, good ambience, nice staff :-)

We ate there on Saturday ..... Everything was very tasty and fresh .... Hygiene was resolved very well .... Staff was super nice and absolutely polite .... A "please and thank you" for every contact ... are seldom been treated so courteously ....

Very good sushi, quick and friendly service, a good selection of alcohol, and all within reasonable pricing.

It was a nice evening with good food. Since this is a large restaurant with open space, it is a bit noisy at times, but that subsides in the course of the evening. Thanks to the good selection of dishes, you could try a lot of new things. The number of possible orders is sufficient. The staff is always and really always friendly and accommodating. We would be happy to come back.

Very nice setting. Sushi is good (far from amazing but ok for buffet standard), most sides and deserts were also nice but the Grill section was a complete let down. The beef fillet wasn't served as a fillet but pieces of overcooked meat. The prawns were tiny, dry and greasy. The Halibut was super small and greasy ... I wouldn't order from this section again. Overall things looked nicer presented on the menu but weren't served exactly that way. Lots of garnish was missing for example the masago on the inside out roll. Service was very good except when we wanted to pay the bill, food arrived in a timely manner and 5 rounds are sufficient to feed anyone really (we were all happy with 3 rounds and an ice-cream for desert). This restaurant is more expensive than others of its kind, so my expectations were higher. Given that I wouldn't order from the grill section again it didn't represent good value for money. We had a nice evening but I don't need to come back.

Kikko has always been my favorite restaurant, but what we experienced this time was absolutely angry. Nothing was cleared away. By the time the cutlery came we were almost at the second round. So the service is getting worse. Hopefully the service will get better again. The solution with the walls between the tables is also not the best because you couldn't go to the bench we saw without pushing the wall away. It's a shame.

We can only recommend the restaurant. I couldn't make a reservation online, but it went smoothly over the phone. The food was always quick, fresh and consistently tasty. Friendly staff, everything was very clean!

Kikko is always worth a visit. The location is very attractive and modern, the food is delicious and fresh and the menu is constantly being expanded. Due to Corona, the table allocation was well distributed. Sushi wasn't quite as perfect at the weekend as usual, but it will definitely be again. Thanks to the Kikko Team Dinslaken

I would not have liked to have given a star for today's experience at Kikko in Dinslaken. The online reservation system does not seem to work properly, reservations do not go through and, in the worst case, you will be sent away. Goodwill is also missing in this restaurant. With such a problem, the management does not show up either. You noticed that the friendly and hard-working staff had to sort out such situations on their own, with obvious pressure from above. Unfortunately, this experience gives our former favorite restaurant a bitter aftertaste.

Very good atmosphere, will come again. Everything tasted great. One comment targeted the cashier about not being compliant with the rules of the corona. During our meal everything was correct and the service was very good, friendly and competent. Price performance perfect. Thank you Kikko Dinslaken.

We were able to discover some special dishes - such as the spinach salad We would come back

Was there for the first time yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, very friendly staff and everything came to the table very quickly. Price-performance ratio was great! I will definitely come back again.

Literally my favorite sushi place in the world! I'm from the US, but anytime I'm near Kikko I go. The menu has plenty of variety, the service is fast and friendly, and the food is EXCELLENT. highly recommend for sushi lovers. I wish we had one in Ohio!

Very tasty sushi, service was hard, often fast. When it gets fuller, you'll be waiting for "2 minutes" longer. Easy to order via tablet, that is very pleasant. Unfortunately, not cheap on the weekend, cheaper at midday.

It's OK, good value for money, nice looking restaurant

The buffet is great value and the food is just delicious. Salmon sashimi was the winner for the day.

Great restaurant with an awesome concept: You pay a set price (lunchtime about 15€, dinner significantly more (~24€) but also with a greater variety, e.g. shrimps and bigger pieces of tuna) and order in 8 waves with a maximum of 8 meal choices per person (5 in the evening). The meals come in small servings (sushi in 2-3 rolls, nigiri single, Peking duck in 5 slices with separate sauce) out of several categories and are all very delicious. The service is fast and the servings come when ready - so you might get something every few minutes which is a lot of fun. The perfect restaurant to eat as much and as good as you can for a very fair price and for dining in company.
